Reasons for the Numbness?

Typically numbness or pins and needles in the arm or hand laying in bed happens for two reasons:

  1. Vascular (blood supply)
  2. Nerve (pinched nerve)

We have some major arteries and nerves running into the arm from just above our collar bone. This area has the brachial plexus of nerves and the subclavius artery. If this numb or lame feeling keeps happening night after night then a common condition to cause this is called Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS).

I hope the video hels your arm not go numb tonight ;)
